Just to clarify... I understand the GZ devs have said that the difficulty doesn't impact drop rates but how the game plays is completely different in my opinion, how many of you have gotten extra loot from base defence's or got a weapon drop from a machine that shouldn't have dropped it... what they say and how they game plays are two VERY different things in generation zero. so believe what you will but i stand by what i said in this video.

Two Issues. 1. Difficulty does NOT affect machine quality or loot drops. It DOES increase rival spawn rates and reaper chance. 2. DLC packs are on separate spawn table and do not affect normal drops. Both of have been confirmed by GZ devs.

You can get it exp hammer from vulture, it isn’t exclusive the reaper. Used to be. The only exclusive is exp meusser from vulture. I have gotten it twice from vulture.

Difficultly does not effect loot drops. I have asked the devs multiple times. And this is coming from someone who has all the 5 crown and 6 crown weapons and attachments. There is nothing I don’t have atleast 4 of. It is all determine on farming the right machines for the gun you want, and the RNG does its thing. If all you hunt is APOC and speznaz then you will rack up weapons quick. I did all of this on adventure mode and under 250 hours.

Does difficulty really effect loot pool?? I tried it in the past with little change unless this is a more recent thing, I've looked for info all over and it seems to either vary or not change anything, may have to try my luck and see what it is on max difficulty

gz devs and some people say it doesnt but in my experience it differed a bit, everything else in game is effected by difficulty so it doesnt make sense that drop rate would be any different.

I highly recommend people wait on dlc weapons until you get all the 5 crowns la of the base weapons. I personally love the. At wad but I have gotten several dozen of them. at-wad and the iron condor have a ridiculous spawn rate compared to other weapons which is a pain but also great cause your gonna need the weapon parts from them for augments, but yes i can do a weapon augment video :)

Another good way to get non DLC 3 crown + weapons is to complete the weekly challenges. Tick level gives 3 crown, hunter 4 crown and tank level 5 crown. Also attachments.

the exp weapons drop from any rivals machine and its all rng not specific but i'd suggest grinding base assaults as there drop rates are way better than rivals in my opinion or at least a mixture of both :)

Got the “Meusser” experimental hunting rifle like my second vulture drop. I absolutely loved the gun after using it for a while but then I went to scrap a bunch of weapons for weapon parts and out of nowhere the stupid scraping system scrapped it and now I can’t get another one to drop. Every time I get the experimental hp5 I literally want to break something bc I know I’ll have to grind for 3 more hours to get another vulture….

Thank you for this guide! Does this also apply for the weapon attachments? As commented on your playthrough, I have a few things that I could not get to drop even after 150+ hours and farming the correct enemies. How do crates and such work? Can any attachment be in them? Are they influenced by location and threat level? What are good spots to farm? Should I just do a ton of base defenses in the Farmlands and the Forest, and hope that Apoc stuff spawns there (still not entirely sure of what threat actually does tbh)? Or rather go to Himfjäll? Maybe I should experiment with upping the difficulty despites the dev's statements; I've also noticed they seem to contradict themselves sometimes. Still, drop rates should be less skewed towards the DLC weapons, I think - but what can you do?

i understand the devs say difficulty doesnt effect drops but the game plays differently, so iwould up the difficulty and then farm the specific machine that drops the weapon your looking for, as for attachments yes if its a specific attachment to that weapon it will drop from the same machine the weapon does. and containers are just rng you can get any attachment from the containers. what weapons are you looking for though? cause if its 5 crowns weekly challenges are a really good way to get them and if its exp weapons farm base assaults and the vulture

@@KilroyPlays I'm pretty good on weapons, I just want to have them all in 5c tbh. Currently, I don't have the Möller PP, Algstudsare, Sjöqvist, M/46 Kpist (plus 5c mag, this one I really want) and KVM 59. As for experimentals, I don't have the .44 Magnus, Algstudsare and KVM 89. What currently bugs me the most is only having multiple 3c mag extensions for the experimental KVM 59. I love to use that thing to fry the runners the reaper spawns. Admittedly, I've been having too much fun exploring everything and blowing up robots to bother much with things like weeklies - I should probably have done them sooner. That being said I've played on Adventurer most of the time, because, as I said, I'm more interested in exploration and running around shooting things than a combat challenge. Weirdly, for me, this game kind of scratches a similar itch as Skyrim does, where combat challenge was no focus for me, either. I'll bump it to Guerilla and see what happens. Hey, thanks for the advice! EDIT: Interestingly, I just got a 2c KVM 59 mag from a runner... and a KVM 89! Now where did that come from? Purely anecdotal, but difficulty does seem to play quite a part, as you said.

Nice video I had the complete wrong idea with the drop tables thinking to get a better weapon drop I just need to fight a higher tier of the same machine type that dropped the weapon I want, and it's not always the case, I'm just confused with the pitchfork you said on the video about hunters but displayed other machines on the screen ?

oh the gameplay is purely just background footage for the video g has nothing to do with the specific machine you need to farm, that would get very repetitive if i did it that way g :) so dont stress hunters still drop the pitchfork dw

the lower damage ones (com-10, racs 12 ect) i use small fryer and hit and run and then for my pm-71 titan toppler with hit and run. i don't bother with most other augments as they don't fit my play style. what do you like using? :)

Ok.... I gotta say, loved your video. Was very informative but I do have to call you out on the "rocket launcher....." the recoiless rifle is not a rocket launcher and it does not launch rocket propelled grenades. (RPG) it fires shells that are in a sence..... a artillery shell. I know I'm coming of as a rude know it all but I seriously would love for you to be able to at least know of the weapon also it has a rifled barrel. Hence why called recoiless rifle. It is kinda a forgotten weapon platform and I think you would find learning of its history to be kinda cool if you love guns. Again, love the vid..... just the mis-information on that weapon calling it a rocket launcher was a major attention grabber. Gg bud and hope I didn't come off at rude, not at all my intention.😅

tbh it's a bit of a mixed bag this one because some people say you can some people said you can't, me personally I've always been able to get them below lvl 25, but like i said the likelihood of you at a lower lvl destroying a base assault is low, same with the reaper and vulture yet it can still drop. so just keep that in mind. and honestly exp weapons arent even that good anymore... augmented 5 crowns are where its at

i get into a good habit of scraping and recycling everything and i tend to use the same loadout so i only need 3 ammo types really and as for equipment i tend not to use any so its just heals and a pair of binoculars

I had the same thing happen where the 6 crown sledge dropped from vulture. My guess is since the vulture was added they made it so both boss exclusive exp weapons could drop from either of the 2 bosses.

Reasons I like the KVM 89 over the KVM 59: 5.56 is far more common and far more plentiful than 7.62. I will not lie 7.62 is a better round when it comes to damage but you won't always have ammo to fuel a weapon that takes 7.62.

The annoying thing is that DLC weapons, at least some of them, have very very high drop rates compared to other weapons. I mean I consistently kill all kinds of machines and I've got no 5 crown S21 or some of the vanilla weapons, but I've had literally hundreds of 5 crown iron condors and dozens upon dozens of 5 crown miniguns.
