I found your comments on the Scottish kilt industry interesting, especially the give and take between the kilt makers here in North America. I was directed to USA Kilts by Steve Ashton of Freedom Kilts in Victoria BC when I asked him to make me a kilt for my daughter's wedding (he had just retired). practicing pushaways... pushing away from the table and eating smaller portions and healthier foods. :-) I think the real secret is Wawa's chili! I have a "medium" Wawa chili every day for lunch. Gives me protein and tomatoes and no carbs.

Derogatory term for pants/trousers: Chopstick wrappers. Does media influence tourism? I went to Glenfinnan in the early 90’s. Was it because of Bonnie Prince Charlie? Nooo! I went there because Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod came from there. 😂

@@BCSchmerker I looked out over Loch Shiel and went up the monument with a tour guide. For some reason i remember that she was a MacPhearson. I think they might have had a railway museum there but i could be mistaken. After that i travelled on to Fort William.

@OcculiMortis *I tend toward pockets **_galór,_** which are easier to execute in trousers.* Flax-backed wool is minimum for a kilt wi' two pockets, to complement the belt and buckle, bottle holster, large and small utility pouches - and I'd be partial not to mention the day _Sporran_ with watch pocket on a hanger.

a good bit of braveheart was filmed in ireland but it had less of an impact in ireland because Michael collins film came out at the same time.Michael collins as a hero of irish independence not unexpectedly his grave in glasnevin cemetry in dublin however a french woman came over for years to visit his grave with no connection to ireland and several women from ireland and other parts of the world come to his grave mainly due to the movie being made about him and of course Liam neeeson who played him

*Addition:* The motion picture industry has budgets to consider for Scots' costuming. The highland shirt is supposed to resemble an authentic flax _Leine._ Polyester viscose is within reasonable cost for costume kilts, costume vests, &c.; Chrysanthemum's Concerto already uses PV in their Aboyne JSKs and headpieces.
