I think the live action "movie" was Disney's way of seeing if a reboot of Kim Possible would have an audience in today's world. But I don't think they went about that very well... I don't what it is, if maybe just some things don't translate very well to live action, but I feel like the majority of Disney's attempts at this recently have been missing the mark. It's not just them, though. Pokemon tried to recreate the original movie in CGI, like an HD version I guess. But there's just something lost in the expressiveness of the characters going from free animation to stiff CGI. Think the same thing happens with a lot of Disney's live action stuff. The drawings definitely had more expression than what we saw in the Lion King movie, imo.
