I love how she summed up church hurt. As a nearly 40 year old woman who had been in the church sense birth I have had and seen my fair share of church hurt. It's been so sad to see believers fall away from hurts but beautiful to watch true believers thrive in spite of those wounds.

Thank God for Kim Walker-Smith!!! She is SUCH a GIFT to the body of Christ! Other than Jesus she is my true hero. In 2018 my wife and I went through a very similar situation. Things became SO difficult and it seemed like God was asking us to move thousands of miles away from everything and everyone we ever knew to a whole new environment. We were sure God was telling us it was time to go but we needed Him to tell us where to go. Sure enough, while visiting a local ministry one night a visiting man/pastor from far away that we did not know called us out of our seats and asked us if he could pray for us. We said "sure". He then said "I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I can tell you one thing for sure, God is moving you to a new location". WOAH! 😲Now we knew we were definitely hearing from God that it was time to go! Within a few days God showed us exactly where we were going and even the exact house we would be purchasing and moving into. I kid you not!!! We have now been here for 6 years and are SO blessed!!! To be honest it was very challenging and took a MAJOR step of faith but glory to God he made a way of escape for us! Thank you Jesus! We hope our little story helps others who may find themselves in a similar situation. Blessings... 🤠&🥰
