Such a great conversation by three people I deeply respect. One other thing that came to mind; the vision isn't only to lead people the Lord's presence for 20 minutes, but to lead them to a 24/7 life of worship. Every song we introduce to the rotation is a word of exhortation or encouragement and a call to relationship with Him for all the hours we aren't in church. No different from an evangelist, we're planting seed and the Lord will produce a harvest!

This is such an excellent teaching. Thank you for encouraging us to get in that private space with the Lord. It's like going into the dark room to develop a picture. The alone time is necessary to learn to hear His voice. Ty.

I heard this argument in tiktok, it says worship leaders try to manipulate the congregation, and as I listen to this, it is not about manipulating them, but it's about bringing them to where the move of the Holy Spirit is at that service

“Worship is not an activity you just do, it’s you partnering with the Holy Spirit and what he’s doing“

I love this teaching. But I love most, is intimacy with God is more individualized during the week, to be in tuned to the Holy Spirit. You can’t wait til church service to flow. (I may be saying it right) but I love this point. ❤ Thank you sooo much! 👏👏👏

This was divinely-sent to me as God has heard my cries for help dealing with all the logistical considerations and not feeling like I can truly worship. I took so many notes! I am so renewed by the encouragement of the Lord Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Thank. Thank. Thank you a million times! Love you guys already.

How do you choose songs? Do you pray for the message first and look for the similar song, or do you choose the set and meditate on it afterward?
