One of the things I really love about this song is it seems like she's going to end it, and then that 3rd verse comes out of nowhere. It's definitely the best version of this song.

Kim Wilde, many a young boys crush in the 80’s this was a a song from bit of a comeback in the late 80’s which earned her support to Michael Jackson across Europe. I was lucky enough to see her and MJ at Wembley in front of 80,000. She retired from the music industry for about 15 years until one Christmas she was on the tube train in London a little drunk and with reindeer antlers on her head had a sing song (video on you tube) which prompted her to start touring and recording new material. I’ve seen her twice more in the last 5 years and she still has it :-)

Were any others remakes like this one? Sorry, I'm too huge a fan of The Supremes and Diana Ross to endorse this. She even misses the right words in one place. This song was redone by at least one other group, Vanilla Fudge... They also messed up the original lyrics lol

For me Kim was the sexiest and most striking beauty of the whole '80s!No need to show nudity, just her looks was enough to cause you a lil "heartquake" even when she was dressed up to the neck.Seen her live.Even more beatiful than on the screen and a very, very good live performer with a very well trained and very young-ish voice, still.Speaking for my self i love this far better than the original.I'ts way more vibrant.

Kim's dad is Marty Wilde, MBE is an English singer and songwriter. He was among the first generation of British pop stars to emulate American rock and roll, scoring several 1950s hit singles including "Endless Sleep", "Sea of Love" and "Bad Boy". During the 1960s and 1970s. After music Kim became a landscape gardener and radio DJ.

She is so cute, my goodness. I wonder what she looks like today 40 years later? Probably still pretty I imagine... I wonder what all the black was about? One of the first things that came into my head was is she dressed all in black because she doesn't want to distract everyone with her figure instead of listening to her voice. I can't really tell what her figures like but if it's as nice as she is pretty then it's probably pretty fabulous. Great redo on that song. Good job reacting to it Jay.

Her hair is so 80's. Classic. Clearly not a live performance as remember hearing this on radio. Looks like the typical thing in those times where performer appears on some tv show and has to mimic they singing live to their current single. Do not envy these artists having to do that back then. Helps if they like to dance along to their own song and can basically sing to it at same time without the microphone on.
