I love this video!!! I watched it when it first came out but hadn’t started using a laser yet so didn’t really understand and the info didn’t stick in my brain. I’ve now cut out a couple signs as they were but realized I wanted to do the personalized sign with a last name that was common in my area… so I came back to rewatch this video and NOW I understand and it’s actually very easy. I was also going to search for how to inset the score markings but then Kim went ahead and brought that up too! So this video had everything I was looking for to make a personalized sign! Great work, it was VERY helpful!!! I also got an S1, so I really like how you showed it in XCS since that’s the program I have right now. BABY STEPS, but I’m learning!!

How would you vent this at a show? When using the conveyor does the exhaust work well enough that it would be ok to use at a show? I really am thinking this is the laser I just had some concerns on the pass through use so glad you are doing some video on this laser.

I noticed you used a board 19 x 26. I looked on your site where you sell the MDF but didn't see this size. I purchased some door hangers to make but didn't see a board that would work to do an 18" hanger without maybe getting a larger board and cutting some of it off to fit in my xTool S1 40W laser. I will unbox laser tomorrow and set it up. I am new to all of this so may ask some dumb questions.

MDF is not water proof, this material swells quickly when wet. I see you used indoor/outdoor paint, but do you advise to hang these door hangers outside? Thanks!

This now my favorite KZbin show . Going to join as a Patreon . Could you tell me how long the conveyer is that comes out of the back of the S1 and is the over all length 39”. Mine is not here yet . Do you need to remove that when not using for smoke control and reinstall when needed . Thanks so much .

Ugh! Hi guys, I could’ve swore I saw you cut a full word out on the F1 with a slide extension. So I bought one now I can’t find the video! Could you please redirect me to that video or just let me know the kind of wood you used thank you so much. It was a word you hang on the wall as a decoration.

By stretching the space between the top and the bottom of the M you made them out of line with each other in the center..
