I've been a master Kim for a while so I'm hungry for any content that shows top level Kim play. I need to steal more tech lol. I've been mostly trying to figure out stronger frame trap options or more can setups so I can get people to stop mashing stand jab. The run step (running into opponent) is a frame trap most of the time but it's hard to get damage off so the risk reward for the opponent stand jabbing is pretty heavy in their favor. Most videos/guides I can find are for beginner/intermediate level so I really appreciate all the top level informational videos Diaphone!

If they block a stand heavy punch it's a spacing trap with any of your pokes if they press jab after.

Fujimura has placed first at: Fighter's Spirit 2018 Stunfest 2018 CEO 2018 Red Bull Kumite 2018 Taipei Major 2019 Fighter's Spirit 2019 SEA Major 2019 All SF5. He also had a number of other 2nd and 3rd place finishes too. 7th at Evo this year with SF6 obviously. And 2nd in this stacked tournament, but 49th in the second World Warrior

Kimberly kind of mauls JP with all her neutral skips and ways to bait amnesia with her setups. I know she’s widely considered as one of the weaker characters but to counter one of the most popular and strong characters makes her kind of a sleeper pick.

Funny how Mocchi won tournanent's with s2 Sol and people gave him due credit. It was, "Compared to Nago and Ram, Sol sucks, its just Mocchi is goat'd." In SF6 it's polar opposite. It's, "Cammy is the worst until Punk and Hurricane consistently beat a JP in finals", or "Gief has no options until SnakeEyes resets bracket and destroys a JP and a Ken."

I can see how Kimberly can be top tier but she's still got a high skill ceiling due to the fact that you have to be fast, slippery and tactical to really bring out the best in her its still great to see that Kimberly won a Major but I doubt I'll end up doing anything of the sort on her as I've yet to learn the core of SF6 to the level needed to even approach that.

Why do JP and Kim have EX down down inputs, but Jamie does not have an EX drink option? Getting a better level up option might be just what he needs, since I do not feel like the character really becomes scary until at least 3 drinks.

I think the drink is super strong, especially at DL2. He gets access to the best damage ender in the game

But even so, EX drink does not necessarily need to give more drinks if you think it conflicts with his Lvl 2 too much; it could protect your drinks with armor, massively increase the speed, or just make it a combo extension of some kind to add drinks to any combo.

So that bomb set up at 4:50 ish mark actually doesn't go into ex command grab. I labbed it after playing a Kim that clearly stole this guy's tech and it doesn't work. You're actually better off going for HK loop for optimal damage if you have the meter and your willing to spend it

This kim player had to work so hard at the end. Kim had to outplay or guess right so many times to equal ken getting a read or guessing right once. You saw the mental breakdown on the end. Kim was eating the dp's until she wasn't and it shook the Ken player. Also, i don't know if Kim would be sustainable, so many skin of the teeth moments.

Think about JP. Kakeru had to perform 32 perfect parries to win AB's ken. I have watched so many top level matches, but I have never seen any player in the world can do that many perfect parries in a few matches.

Idk if it’s only in super high Masters but every time I do MP HP into run cancel I get jabbed out or DP 100% of the time so I sometimes don’t even use that at the wall anymore LOL 😂
