I think she's running for, or wants to run, for the school board in her district, because she knows that taking up space in the local offices that go below even the mayoral or governor or council person level is just as important. It's the folks who are on the school boards that are banning books in the schools across the country.

She, and anyone else who wants to be in politics, should look at offices that are within their own communities or state.

Blessings to her. She is 100 percent correct on everything. I sold dope almost my whole life. These last 6 years I've been hustle free from the game. It's harder than ever sometimes, but I feel better as a person knowing I'm not hurting people and killing my community. I caused a lot of pain, and I know it's my job to correct what I can.

Very good. Quick, concise and clear. I need you to get it. She gets it. She is about focusing on a solid foundation. The only thing is please come up with a better phrase then defund the police. This allows stupid people to play stupid. It's a distraction to constantly have to explain this. When I first heard it I thought they meant get rid of the police.

Great information! Kim is absolutely correct about the state elections. We see why they wanted to minimize the feds roles in states. Get off your butts and participate by voting locally, be aware of the state’s part in voter suppression and vote in state elections, and still vote in Presidential elections. Great guest!

Just the knowledge shared on government contracts and building business should be enough for our people to get involved on the city level. NPU's in Atlanta are notoriously known to be driven by developers and yes men as she states. Get involved, get knowledgeable in the way the city moves, create legacy for your people and community. This lady is very smart, relatable and very interesting. In Scotland we have different type of police, community police, regular police both do not carry guns (thank goodness). Only trained armed police carry them here. It makes such a huge difference not seeing guns everywhere on a daily basis.

After looking up her book, I realized shes the girl that was very passionate in the video that went viral after George Floyd's death. She was comparing monopoly to financial inequity of blacks. That time when I watched the video, she was so powerful in her explanation as she was powerful in this segment. I love her energy.

I always said throughout high school social studies and college that reconstruction didn't address the needs of the formerly enslaved. I have gotta read her works appreciate yall having this intelligent woman on the show.

We had congressmen, schools were created for us (and poor whites), and we were given land. Johnson undid all of that.
