What is the tallest gearing set up you have? I have seen people get their TTO2s up to 100 or more so I guess there’s some taller gearing options available out there? But yeah these are so nice because they’re expensive and work great.

@@BriansRCStuff ya u can get the spur gear down really small with the mod1 spurs for the revo.. i had 32t one on one of my rustler builds and it would have been awsome but the stock esc blew up.. lol. Im running a team corrally revoc pro sensored esc now.. with sensored motor and duuuuude.. so butter smooth.. they are doing a bunch of ebay auctions with that esc right now.. people are getting them for as low as 80 free shipping.. best deal going right now

@@AVERAGEJOERC 😱😱😱 That sucks! Mine was like 700 feet away from me when it happened... had to get in the car and go get it.... all on camera. It was all cooled down waiting to go on a speedrun and when I went to give it some throttle to line it up on the road.... nothing. A few seconds later, lots of smoke! My body almost melted through but it is usable.

What motor are you using that uses a 5mm shaft as shown in your video and where can you get Saga pinion gears? Thanks

Most 3660 and longer motors run 5mm shafts. I like them with 32p gears as they are stronger and easier to set the mesh - win win. How fast were you able to get it with the 76t stock spur gear. And what is the biggest pinion that you can match with it. I want my Pede to be fast but still be able to bash a little

I will look through my old videos later and see if I can find the highest speed I got on the stock setup with just a different pinion. Here is an option if you want to keep a slipper. It went 77 mph in this video and I am pretty sure this was a 35t pinion and the stock spur ( talk about the setup in the previous video). I can’t remember if you can fit a 37 tooth in there… If you can’t, you could elongate the motor adjustment screw hole and it should definitely fit then. You might be happy with a 31 or a 35 tooth pinion however and if you go crazy with it, the motor and/or ESC will get too hot. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHXLqGR8mdyopsksi=f-_7FILu5_KNd2R4 With a less powerful battery, you would be around 70 with that set up .
