I have mip metal driveshafts heavy diff fluid and slash tires on my bandit with full metal 32p gears. Goes 100kmh no problem. Have vid on my channel if u wana see it

In our area, we run the stock 32P gears on our 2WD because we don't need to run the covers in sand. Seems counter-intuitive, but the sand gets in with the cover anyways, but instead of the sand falling out, they stay inside and really screw up the gearing. We rather have it open so whatever goes in there can get out, the 32P gears are big enough not to get damaged by the sand or small rocks. Eventually, maybe after a season, you will need to change the spur gear, which is only $3 anyways. I know that in a grassy area or muddy area, this probably won't work for you.

I. Put a 52t metal spur gear and 13t pinion on my 2wd stampede and the motor cogs and shakes jitters when its under the slightest of bind in the grass. Any ideas why? I Put the factory stuff back in it and it runs fine. It has a brushless motor and arma blx esc

I have a HR 50T 32P spur on my 2wd rustler, what do you think the largest pinion that will fit ? I'm trying to go fast on 2s with a 5900kv motor. thanks

I want my Stampede to be slower, like a crawler - TX4; what pinion / spur should I get. I don't think TX4 components are compatible with Stampede? I would rather modify than buy another $600 car (I already have Xmax for) speed.

2 different worlds for suspension and gearing. But go to a 21 speed motor, 10th pinion and a 120th spur if possible.

Going up in brushed motor turns means more torque . Keep an eye on your gearbox with the large wheels

Man am i glad i found this video lol, resently got into this hobby so fairly new compared to dinosaur technology i last remembered ( 9.6v tyco) my question is what combination of gears and kind to use 3660 brushless motor ? I just ordered one not remembering to check shaft size and it's .5mm rather than 3.175 its for my stampede i got 3660 3200kv but pinion gears i have wont work and w mlm anything 48p aren't small enough for stock 90t spur what's best way to fix without breaking the bank i do little of both off road and street driving any help would be appreciated thanks. Looking into this mod u have in video like the slipper clutch setup though i haven't had any problems with stock slipper but that pin issue known to break is what im getting concerned about im getting closer to that problem being first brushless was 4270kv i believe but ran 14/90 gearing i believe it overheated or esc is problem still being looked into if any advice to prevent future issues im all ears. Appreciated.

I'm trying tl figure out the gears on 32p. I was running a 48p 90/23-25. Killing it..(fast, wheelies, out of control..lol.) but switched to 32p 56/17. Amd its slow af. Especially from what I just came from. How do i get the same speed now. With this 32p gears??

Is the motor you're using the 3200KV out of the Granite 4 x 4? Are you going to run this on 2s and 3s to compare the difference? Also, what size pinion are you using?

I bought another Arrma motor/ESC combo off of eBay, but it's the same that comes in the Granite 4x4 BLX. I think this is the best basher combo, for $88 it works pretty awesome. Running 2S for now, will try 3S in a month or two.
