I really wanted to go to Super Nintendo World but when I arrived at USJ around 10 AM and saw the crowd, I immediately turned back... (also the entrance time for SNW was 3 PM at the earliest...) Fingers crossed, next time I visit Japan, there will be less people there!

Before covid during the Chinese New Year holidays I will go Japan to visit Uncle Toro and Aunty Uni....hope to visit them again next year If you have the time try Ramen Yashichi near Nakatsu station… they add additional charred grilled chicken into the rich broth which gives it lovely taste… not a big place but they issue queue numbers and estimated time to come back when there is a waiting line

what a fun 24 hours with a good friend in Osaka! and hectic too i bet. that 6pm crowd at USJ is so not it. although, i guess, that is how major tourist spots in Japan is going to be in general since the borders are now open 😣 btw, have you watched Wednesday already? Sophie certainly could be Enid for Halloween next year 😀

How do you get the tickets with discount? Is it only for locals?

You have to buy using the USJ app but it’s all in Japanese. If you get confused you can ask the staff to help you. I had an Australian certificate and it was accepted. Didn’t ask if you were a resident or not
