I have a similar experience from the other side of the same kind of story it has been eleven years since we were a host family, but she still talks to us every month sometimes every week and that is why her English stays "brushed up" and she has been teaching us some Korean. It is such a special experience to show someone your country on such a personal level. It is a very unique way of learning that you will never forget and perhaps make a forever friend from it. It is nice to see Kim have a positive experience also.

Hina definitely knew you were going somewhere. The way she jumped up on you when she saw you again was so sweet. She was very happy you were home. Watching that Pokemon parade I got to wonder if you felt the urge to try to catch one. I'd had been after that Pikachu myself lol :) Seriously though, the actors playing the characters do a good job of bringing them to life.

Did you go on 31st of October? I remember seeing your IG story as i was walking out of USJ, thinking it was such a shame i didn’t get to meet you! The crowd was supeeeer crazy despite it being a weekday. But it was super fun seeing all the zombies and monsters dancing and ADO’s song was stuck in my head for the whole entire trip 🤣
