Am a new fashion designer and I would want to specialise on kids ready to wear dresses but I am having issues with drafting patterns for kids from 0 to 14years .Can you kindly help me out I have checked alot of tutorials online and some are consuming especially arm holes for kids and also the darts for kids .And bodice length. What type of sewing machine do you use and recommend. Would you you go for brother cs6000i or brother Hc1850? I am in Nigeria tho

This was SO helpful! Thank you so much for putting out this video. It gives me such hope and excitement for the future. I have loved sketching dresses and clothes and have always wanted to make them one day but always felt intimidated by learning everything, but the way you described makes me think it is something I can actually accomplish! Love the valuable content. Also, I love your collection, it’s so beautiful. ❤️😊

Wooohooo💖, congrats on 200k!!! I love that you’re always transparent and honest in your videos.. Edit: I agreeee! Omg, before I learned how to sew I made something based on a sketch & realized...it was unwearable, & I needed to edit it a lot because of the fabric/design/etc.. 😭

Quick add. For the last question, you should develop a good marketing strategy. Here in Nigeria people would normally buy a ready to wear if others are buying. For example, you start a ready to wear business and you are very social and influential you convince people (in your church, school, hangout zones, streets, social media etc..) based on your influence, and for the purpose of good conscience make sure you know what you are doing... I mean, make sure you are making people buy something that their money is worth. Like what Priscilla said don't expect gain immediately be ready to sacrifice and you have to go all out of your comfort zone to get and gain awareness. If you do this effectively you would definitely see improvements. Thanks Kim Dave, I really didn't take sizing into so much consideration. 🤗thumbs up

I want to be a fashion designer aswell and I know something's about design since I researched a lot about it and have been sewing for a few years so maybe I can help answer your question
@withlovestephaniedenise70245 жыл бұрын
Yes you can bc michael Kors is a designer and doesn’t know how to sew. Nene Leaks is a designer and doesn’t know how to sew. Zell is a designer and doesn’t know how to sew. There are many more but their name is known weather nationally or locally.
