Dear Kim, I was waiting to get the fabrics before commenting! I went to the place today. I had a ball! I bought crepe for my self, I bought denim for my daughter. I was targeting the pink denim as well, but they did not have today. i bought a darker blue pinstriped fabric ( the type you showed us), I bought jersey like fabric, pink gingham. I also bought power net fabric. Stay blessed and relevant. I told them, it was through you that I came to the shop. They were very happy. Very happy with my shopping!

Loving the casual look hun. Anyway, your choice of materials were great. The last 3 pcs are beautiful. Especially the denim with the white ingrained into it. A suit for the purple and either a fitted skirt or full legged pants. That's my take on it. Take care. I would have been soooo confused in there. LOVE how they measure their cloth. I useto love next door to this place and can you believe I never knew it was a fabric place until I moved to Walthamstow and a fabric shop owner gave me the address and told me to visit there.. I wanted to beat myself loool

They measure the fabrics so different from us here in Jamaica...we jus have stork clerks walking around with metre sticks. Fabric shopping can be relaxing and exciting at the same time.

Here, fabrics are a great business because of the presence of the fashion industry and fashion schools. Going to see fabrics is actually something I do at least once a month to stay alert & creative.

I like to go to the markets mostly; Walthamstow, Brixton & Shepherd's Bush. and then other times I like to shop online at fabricland.co.uk or Williamgee
