As a finn, I'm really pleased, that he spoke so well, so professionally and slightly emotionally and you could clearly sense, that he was very pleased, that finally his work has started to be recognized and appreciated. I've never ever heard him speaking like this, he was very energetic and confident, full of life. A very well deserved reward.

Dirty Deed and in spite all this he still stayed the Iceman... Never going all jumping with joy, never speaking more than he feels he needs to... But the always composed Kimi we knew... And calling the trophy "this... Thing" was just something that showed that he still does things in his own way, even on formal occasions :)

I'm sure he would if he wanted to. In Hungary (2017) just recently on the podium he was asked to say a few words in Finnish to his fans, and he chose not to.

Luulenpa että tuo Räikkösen kuuluisa lausahdus on eräänlainen variaatio suomenkielen sanasta "No", jolla puhekielissä aika usein aloitetaan lause ja jota käytetään taktisiin taukoihin sanojen välissä. Usein Räikköjen sanoo lähinnä jotain tähän suuntaan: "mooh...", joka on melkein identtinen yleisen "nooh..." lausahduksen kanssa suomenkielessä. Itseasiassa Kimi aloittaa juuri tässä videossa pitämänsä puheen sanalla: "Noh...".

I'm proud of you Kimi we all are that is your true friends who would never say one bad word about you in their entire life or your beautiful wife "Mintuu" and lovely kids. You have achieved so much now. We are now in mid 2020 your still young healthy man with discipline and you train hard every day you can despite juggling career and family. I never wanted you to leave but now realize your family"kids" are growing up fast and your wife need you closer to home to look after kids and share life with her. I understand you have one year left on your contract and am overjoyed and this year with Corona virus being dealt with I have more time to Watch every race of 2020 I wouldn't miss it for anything an I'm going to make sure I watch every race.. thank's Kimi and his fans and all his friends from all over the world. Cheers from 🇮🇪 👍🍺
