Thank you for your watiching Kimono Racing always. Katsuzo-san spent his childhood in Ishikawa Prefecture, which was hit by the recent earthquakes. We would like to donate the proceeds from this video to the affected areas. Thank you to everyone who heard about our safety.

@@kimonoracing your video reminded me of another technique I learned early on and would be nice if you could do a video for the others still learning. It might be basic for us but how to recover from a deep lean while on max steering would be a good topic for your next video. I think this is one of the big topic as a beginner to learn and you and your partner are very good with your videos. After learning the techniques on max steering while leaned recovery it makes doing deep leans on max steering less scarier and makes tight turning and rotation easier to do. I remember as beginners we are taught to steer to the lean to straighten out the bike and counter steer to deepen the lean. But if we are already at max steering we can only straighten the bike using throttle, and brake to deepen the lean. A demo video and some discussion would help your other subscribers 🙃. I could also point to your videos for those asking me hehe.😁

I'd like to say firstly, thank you for your videos they mean a lot.Secondly, I am learning amples times when I watch these videos, and try to encorporate it on the riding life. We don't have a Gymkhana like in Japan, so my biggest gamble is to practice what I learned over KZbin through your channel. Thank you.

Very good video and reminded me when I was starting out (reminded me of my thighs getting cramps hehe). Instead of the way you showed it, I practiced the knee movement by alternating hard acceleration and hard braking (recommended by Honda instructors). Head and shoulders should be stable during transitions from brake to acceleration and vice versa. This also practices less weight on the handle bars for better, smooth and finer control. Advanced level is using the techniques you have shown while bike is in full lean (rank A riders can do it so smooth and easily). Again very nice video! Agree that people focus to much on the handlebars and sometimes on the footpegs also when I find that tank control (for rider stability) is more important to have the hands and feet focused on the other controls. Heck Sakuta-san shifts so many times while leaned on his KSR!

@@kimonoracing kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6vMnn2Lha5gqNksi=Mx6keRb0LOU0Ke0H For example in this video at 1:28 during the rotations to the right. The rider does multiple small head turns to the left. Not all riders do it and the ones that do only do it for 270+ rotations (or so it appears). I am curious to know how it helps?

Apologies, but your posture was correct in your example. At low speeds and small turning radius, the bike falls if you lean to the same side as the bike. The counter lean was necessary. Edit: Apologies again, but you're wrong. In his example his upper body is also counter-leaning, which is the correct posture when turning at such small radius and low speeds. Edit2: It's just a physics problem. If you draw the bike mid corner and the forces you'll understand that counter-leaning creates a negative moment which in turn allows for the bike to lean even more towards the corner and thus reduce the turning radius...
