I agree with what you said about not having kids with them. It's totally unfair to put the burden of a relationship on a baby. Babies/children need you to meet their needs-children can't and shouldn't have to meet an adult's needs

You become their Personal Assistant, not a wife, not a partner, not an equal. You will never build any equity in this relationship with them. You are in there giving your all and they will take it all. You’re worthy of a much better life than one with them. RUN, RUN, RUN. Save your self. God bless you & keep you safe. Debbie

My 5 are Avoid: 1. Talking / thinking about him or her 2. Rumination of the effect of that relationship has/had on your mental health. 3. Avoidance of your role played or being played (this is your golden answer “Your part played”) 4. Other people’s advice, this is FOR YOU not them so careful who you share with, any idiot has an opinion and it can lead to false memory and victim like behaviours that will NOT serve you well. 5. Retaliation. Go no contact. Being kind to yourself is my point, see your role played in attracting this type and make the changes in behaviour to ensure better boundaries and decisions are made. We can ONLY do ourselves.

I think waiting a year is not enough. They will start their ugly game after the marriage, not before. Thanks Kim!
