If u have any plan to visit shillong, nagaland and other hilly states of india make sure the weather is good ,otherwise u ll meet up with road blockage due to landslides whhich is common during the rainy days. we Indian might be poor at pocket but rich at heart...ENJOY🖐️

What I observe about Indians is that they have the love of their country at heart that's why they are so good and hospitable. Coz the more tourists, the better the internally generated revenue of the country. That's my strict opinion though.

Indians do love their country . But the seconds part of assumption "Coz the more tourists, the better the internally generated revenue of the country" is not true. When a common Indian does gesture he is not thinking of any returns and he is just happy and proud to showcase more about country. When the place is not touristy ,you will find more such people who are relaxed and happy to share. I only hope with the fast pace of development going on in India this is preserved. Culturally, Indian subcontinent [India and neighboring countries ] follow "Athehi Devo Bhavo" [ Sanskrit phrase meaning -Guest is like God] You will find this positive vibe from a common Indian all over India . Also, unlike west or any other part of world, Indians are more extrovert. The best example of this you can find in train travel -It is next to impossible [even for Indians] that conversation wont start with fellow passengers and sky is limit for such conversation. Each state has different culture and cuisine but they bond by same culture and you will most among common people. You just need to avoid salesman and conman [as you do in other countries]
