The boy was abandoned by one of the most important people in his life and was left completely vulnerable. He will remember this moment (likely a lot more like it) for the rest of his life. The boys, while nice, will never even close to outweigh the harm in this child’s life. How is any of that heartwarming?

Child neglect is heart-warming?
@owlox278
@owlox278 11 ай бұрын
Yeah, even though mostly people would eventually help it always warming seeing a group of people being kind and tried their best to help. Not including the father of course. And yeah, the world sure is full of conflict right now with people being to sensitive to anything where people even find innocent things offensive and harmful. And people being envious and hate towards anyone who are above them. And i don't think it will ever calm down any time because there would be just a new generation that past those characteristic since it would always happen no matter what because that's just human nature of being "GREEDY" and desire of being superior. And yeah there's nothing we can do if we don't have power to go against it, since there's people who would always wanted more until they're satisfied

Seeing a ray of hope even in darkness is sign of positive person. This video may show father forgot the child, but imagine nobody helped the child or ignored that would had been worse. So it is always better to be hopeful sometimes.

The kid seems exhausted, and it looks like he feels safer without his father there. He is not anxious at being separated from his parent, and is trying to get physical comfort from the student, and go to sleep on him. Maybe he feels he can finally relax. I hope the kid wasn't just handed back to his alcoholic father.
@selmahare
@selmahare 11 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same. The alcoholic father is obviously not fit for purpose. I don’t know how it works in China, but where I come from social services would take him. It’s everything but ideal for any child to end up in the system, the system is BAD; but in this case he’s obviously not safe with his dad either. Poor baby.
@Kat-mu8wq
@Kat-mu8wq 11 ай бұрын
In China, and Japan (probably Korea too) adoption costs money. As in $25,000-40,000 per child. So the system would probably not be better because the kid is very unlikely to be taken in. In Asia they prefer having children of their own blood, they rarely adopt kids.

Sometimes kids aren’t. I helped a little girl who lost her parents in an airport, she just calmly asked if I had “seen her mummy and daddy”. I found the parents easily because they looked terrified (especially dad, he was almost crying) but the little girl wasn’t scared at all😊 nb- I work as a shop assistant in duty free, so she came up to me because I wore a uniform!

@@chameleon28same I also helped a girl who kept crying mama walking around the kid market. I was the only shop keeper in my store so I didn’t step out right away but after 5 minutes of listening to her I had to go outside and stop her from wandering around. While I was contemplating going to market security the parents and some other shoppers found us. The girl followed me right away when I called out for her and stopped crying. I wonder why no one else helped her as she must have walked around the area for a while , and it’s a busy tourist spot.

Seriously? A child is stranded without his (obviously inept) parents, and only a “sudden” sense of societal responsibility would cause the surrounding adults to step in to help??? That’s what normal people would do in any healthy society. I’m gobsmacked that most of the comments about this story speak to people’s shocked response to Chinese people being kind to a child! If this happened anywhere else in the world, the comments would reflect criticism of the parents’ terrible, shocking neglect of that little boy.

This child is too cute. Reminds me of a kid I work with at a youth centre. A little boy with his older 7 brothers always drop-in. This little boy will fall asleep in a chair some evenings. Sometimes his brothers leave without remembering to take him home or they'll leave and come pick him up before we close because no one can wake him up. lol. They live nearby and most of the staff have worked with these brothers for a few years so it's not usually a big deal with this boy. I can tell that trying to wake up this lil guy is probably my coworkers highlight of their shifts. I know it's mine, I enjoy seeing how gentle my coworkers are with this kid and his brothers I also enjoy seeing the older boys being big brothers. That boy and those university students.. so wholesome!

Chinese students are excellent in many aspects. I never had a single behavioral issue caused by any of my students in my almost 7 years of teaching in China. Chinese people IN CHINA (I emphasized this because the Chinese in my homecountry, the PH are NOT that type) are generally kind, humble, peace-loving and hardworking. Even my mom who visited me and stayed with me for about 3 months was so impressed by how gentleman and respectful the Chinese men were. My almost 7 years of teaching and living in China was one of the best experience I've ever had. Almost 10 years have passed since I left the Middle Kingdom (中国) and I'm still in contact with my friends there. China is a very beautiful country.

@rudyorense1921
@rudyorense1921 11 ай бұрын
@@vikasprakashjoshi2090 Not necessarily. Their ancestors move to my country (and other ASEAN/Asian countries) when China wasn't as prosperous as it is now. Truth be told, even their (Chinese in my home country) physical features are different from what O saw in China. I presume this is because those Chinese who migrated before came from the same geographical (as well as social, economic, racial) location - South of China. This also explains why what most of us know as Chinese food OUTSIDE China are way too different from what they have in China. I learned during the years I was in China that there are actually 8 MAJOR CHINESE CUISINES. What most people taste, know, see in other countries are perhaps from Guangdong or Fujian areas. For example, Sichuan food is characterized by "ma" and "la" or "ma la". It's not the usual hotness and spiciness brought by chilli pepper. It's something else. The distinct spiciness amd hotness is attributed to the sichuan pepper.

That's just an assumption. Just because a child is really sleepy in a bus does not mean they've been drugged. It's irresponsible to accuse someone of abuse without knowing their situation.

Father must be going through a difficult time, perhaps a single father…? I hope the child is well taken care of ❤

The fact the boy was so sleepy is suspicious... Like he's been drugged.

I think the same , a child even tired always cried and will want his parents. He looks under substances

This makes me think now. If that's true did he leave him there on purpose and was expecting not to be found?

@@PosaPunto That's my theory, yes... to disorient the child and lose him.

Those students did a Phanomenol job with the little boy. Caring is sharing especially a child so young and being alone.

Wow. I’m shocked that the boy isn’t freaking out. I would probably cry immediately

Oh dear, luckily he's will a group of kind people. I think may be the child also drank a bit, because the child is un normally drowsy, and he is amongst strangers. Shame on his dad.

Seem like the kid was safer on a subway with strangers than his own father. I really hope that father get the help he need. That situation could've turned out bad for that young boy

It’s very kind of them to look after him. Unfortunately, in my opinion the little boy was intoxicated also. 😢
