I’m blessed with a large group of good friends. In the beginning of my cancer journey, two of those friends kept my other friends informed of my progress. That was so important to me in that I didn’t have to keep repeating what was wrong to so many people, especially at a time where I really didn’t have the energy to even talk on the phone. Your suggestion of sending a card was right on, as every card I received put a smile on my face, and let me know someone was thinking of me. I also want to thank you Sara as your words of advice, your knowledge and your wisdom on the subject, sure gave a lot of comfort to my family in a very difficult time. 💕

Having a ‘Press Secretary’ is a great idea! A person that can keep others informed and manage questions could reduce considerable burden. Thank you for sharing this! I am so happy for the return of your health.
