This is just Xbox trying to save face while admitting defeat. This is Xbox no longer being Xbox. Xbox saying they don't need to exist anymore. They can't put up an argument to sell you hardware. They're just retiring to being another Stadia/digital storefront. Doomed to be the next Sega.

Nothing like Sega since Sega doesn't own Windows or have a massive cloud infrastructure. Xbox has an opportunity to be a big software player with some hardware to back that up. They are no longer a main console hardware player, but it's not like they're just a games publisher like Sega.

@@RosstheBoss6666 It's cute to think Xbox has a chance. But no. The ONLY thing they had going for them was being the biggest fish in their own little ecosystem. Outside of that ecosystem they're nothing, and they have to compete with titanic leviathans. Microsoft has already straight-up said they're about to axe Xbox entirely. They've got about a year left to perform some sort of miracle before Microsoft shuts them down (and probably sells them off), and all they keep doing is making things worse for themselves.

Correction, the don’t wana be buying Xbox consoles. Nintendo isn’t struggling to sell, PS isn’t struggling to sell. This is EXCLUSIVELY a Xbox problem. Why try and wrap up the others into something only Xbox is having issue with?

PS isn’t struggling? Why are they shuttering studios and releasing on PC if the console is all they need? They’re also in a gap of content (except for Astrobot). This is not an exclusively Xbox problem.

That’s how you can tell who’s struggling. Xbox can’t even give their games away, but as soon as they make their way over to the other side of the fence, they chart. This is exclusively a Xbox problem. You don’t see any other platform holders have the same issues Xbox is.
