David v Hakeem, The first championship, Duncan’s should’ve been quad-double in 03, .04 seconds, 2005 Horry shot, Manu fouling Dirk in 06, The 07 run and “this league will be yours one day, thanks for letting me have this one”, the dark days, the 13/14 beautiful game Spurs, and then the ride and fal of Kawhi. I'm so thankful for Andy being a Braves fan. We're of an age together and our storiea are similar about our love of the team, and the history, and the need for change and abandon. I'm with him on the need for Braves name needing changed and the chop to be retired. They are offensive and it is openly opposed by many indigenous groups. Also I love that Nick backdoored his way into a futurama joke with the lost city of Atlanta

As an Astros Diehard fan I am so happy for The Braves & Andy for taking the 2021 WS. Even though it hurt really bad & winning it would’ve taken a lot of that cheating stigma away I am proud of Atlanta for pulling it out. Mad Respect 🏆👏😌

As someone who’s been waiting since 95 for the Braves to get me another one, this moment has been incredible. I got to go to game 3 this series and it was the most magical experience of my life. I get how Andy feels at least somewhat. The Braves were a familial thing for us and despite me not being much of a sports fan, it was the one thing that me and my father shared was watching Braves games on TBS growing up. He used to mention all the time how he was looking forward to when the Braves would win the World Series again. When he was younger, he was going to tryout for the local team, but had a leg injury playing Varsity, so baseball meant a lot to him (more than me tbh) Unfortunately, he passed away one year ago today. We buried him with his Braves cap and baseball

I’m sure someone else is probably going to say the same thing… BUT the reason the Braves became that nationally syndicated team on TBS is because it was based out of Atlanta. Turner Broadcast Station (TBS) was based in Atlanta and that was the team Ted Turner wanted to be able to watch all over the country (the Turners were the team owners for a hot minute).

I'd like to make a counter argument to the whole tomahawk chop thing..... That fans have done to celebrate.... I don't think there's anything wrong or racist or culturally inappropriate to celebrate the idea of Native American braves and that culture. There's something almost mythic about the idea of the not to be culturally insensitive by using the wrong term but I think there's something beautiful and majestic about the Indian brave. And I think to want to emulate that in your chant, If anything it's invoking their power. I know that's a bit of a walk and maybe I'm being selfish It's just my take. I don't see it as being insensitive just celebratory.
