During my medical residency we had an elderly man admitted for kidney failure and needed dialysis. Found out it was from him eating a whole bottle of Tums every day. Even after we told him he couldn’t have any more we kept catching his wife bringing him a bottle of Tums while he was in the ICU. If you are needing it on a daily basis you need to speak with your doctor to say if something needs correcting. Chronic reflux/heartburn can lead to throat/stomach cancer from the chronic inflammation

Absolutely cried laughing at this story in traffic. Every time Tim said it got worse, I was like ok sure but probably not that bad, right?... "That is fucking atrocious" was said out loud every time. And as someone who's cleaned vomit out of sinks (and urinals... Nick) multiple times, Gia made the right call. But who tf could have ever predicted what the consequences would be...

I get late hangovers every time. I drink some pedialyte before bed, wake up and house another and go right to the gym. Like clockwork, 2pm hits and I feel like death. I rarely drink anymore, but if I drink I now plan to take 2 Tylenol and take a nap around 1:30 and it works for me
