As a Japanese speaking English as well, seriously, this interpreter is insanely good. I can tell how much she familiarized herself with FF terms and all the compilation titles in advance. I even suspect she may be a fan of FF7. It would be so hard to translate all the questions and answers like she did otherwise. She is that good. Big appreciation

To be able to get a director of a tripla A game that is as popular as Final Fantasy and has not even been release yet shows how far Kinda Funny had become. From an idea of Gameovergreggy many years ago to a prominant video game news and content rivaling the big companies like ign and gamespot shows that all you need is a good idea and fan support and you can do wonders.

As should be expected, he makes an excellent point about Sephiroth being overall more prominent in the story (which is a thing I've seen many people take issue with). In the world of FF7 Sephiroth should be famous, he was basically Emo-Captain America prior to Nibelheim and nobody eleven knows about that except Cloud & Tifa. Not only would it not make sense for him to not be talked about, he could totally just walk around wherever he wants because 99% of people don't even know he's a villain.

Please for the luv of next generation gaming, tweak and update the damn combat system and move sets. Cloud should not be doing the same moves from pre hd era. Give him brand new moves and limit breaks. And it's not against the law to create brand new powers and fighting moves exclusive to Cloud, to make him more distinct like Noct. Flesh out your combat system. Going from offense to defense needs to be seemless like when boxers slip punches and counter-- intuitive as breathing

It's so awesome to hear that Crisis Core had a big influence on Rebirth! It's such an awesome game, that offers these hugely entertaining chunks of gameplay, with an overarching system of progressing your materia and gear and abilities...so having that kind of influence on an open world game, filled with activities and combat... I couldn't have asked for more!
