I went to high school in a small town. For prom in 1997, we took a generator and a TV to the woods with our dates and watched Twister in the middle of the woods. Watching Twister in the woods is an experience! P.S. I saw Independence Day in the theaters. 1996 was good year for movies.

I grew up with this movie I love the part when aunt Meg is under the house and they immediately run into the fire to save her and the dog with no hesitation. And when they first show up and they say “they had no warning” it’s put into perspective of why they’re doing what they’re doing.

What Tim nor Nick call out is that the insane guitar solo James talks about playing over the credits is an original composition by none other than Eddie Van Halen written for this movie entitled “Respect the Wind”

We don't experience movie magic like the original Twister very often. I remember seeing this movie in theaters when I was 13 years old. Now I'm 41 and experiencing it all over again with the new 4K, Dolby Atmos Blu-ray release with my amazing sound system. "The EXTREME!!!" RIP B.Paxton and PSH.

I went with my mom to see Twister in theaters for Mother's Day, and the power went out at the theater just as Jami Gertz is walking out of her little cottage BnB or whatever it was moments before the tornado destroys the drive-in. Of course, the theater gave us rainchecks to return and see the movie at a later date, but my mom and I were so into the movie that we came back the next day after I got out of school. It is one of my favorite movie-going memories as a kid. And to think I saw Mission Impossible just a couple weeks later, a franchise I still love to this day, and then ID4 (which is the only Independence Day movie that's ever been made and definitely didn't have a laughably bad 20 years later sequel that almost retroactively ruins the first movie) less than two months after that all in the same summer? I even saw The Hunchback of Notre Dame in theaters! What a time to be a kid...

I live in Iowa, in spring and summer, and part of fall, we assume tornados can happen at any time. But most folk aren't really afraid of them. Kinda a tradition to grab a case of busch light and head outside to watch for it.

He’s gonna rip into Twisters. Everything he was saying about hot young casts and whatnot is clearly his thoughts on the standalone sequel. He seems like a nice person but each time he has been on the show he strikes me as the type of content creator that follows the trend of all modern movies are terrible and gives the goofiest arguments as to why.

This was the most fun/ funniest “In Review “ I’ve seen/heard in a while. 😂 Great job. I was going into my senior year of high school when this movie came out and I loved Helen Hunt and I loved this movie. Never thought of it before, but Nick is on to something. The whole crew seemed to be way too “horny” for the tornadoes!😂😂😂

Him kissing her at the very end is an honorable 1996 American fella & gal treating the kiss like it crosses all the lines that can never be turned back on. No kiss unless he has the blessing of the woman he strung along and they retake their vows..

@@thefreshtowel9815 the mummy franchise has 7 movies, one of which was a critical success, 5 that were cash grabs, and one that literally bankrupted universal pictures. Aliens 3- covenant are pretty trash ya, but 2 of those trash movies would be great in review episodes(because there the right type of bad) Plus, you get the predator movies with that as well, so there’s 4(debatably 5) certified GOAT movies against… Brendan Frazier and bad CGI😂 Shrek in Review I’ll give ya, even rush hour(never seen them), but not the mummy… those are like transformers levels bad.

Thank God James was on this review. Nick was just mangling the plot of this movie (just how like the lion mangled the director’s scalp). Just jumping around, getting different scenes mixed up with different tornadoes and even forgetting about the cow/sisters scene at all?! Come on Nick Biden, you’re better than this. Twister deserved better.
