I expect the Yakuza show to feel like the game’s cutscenes: serious, intense drama (if they do it well, anyway). I don’t know if they should try to incorporate the goofy side of the games. That sort of tonal whiplash works great in a game, but a show is different. With Ichiban I never really thought about it until now but all the turn based stuff does give the game a different overall vibe. The cutscenes are as serious as ever but I feel like we would be missing something if the show didn’t have his childish side too. Lots of other characters to use before getting there, though (Akiyama and Saejima!)

I don't get why Blessing is alarmed by American flags and "won't judge". I am not a trump supporter by any means but I don't see why the picture you painted would be concerning. We need our country to come together more now than ever. Patriotism, our flag and national pride is not a right or left symbol but it is our country's.

Bless's statement might be because one side of the american political spectrum is claiming the flag as a symbol of their political views, and anyone who is agianst them is inadvertently agianst the American flag and/or America. It's a kind social manipulation to control the political narrative that unfortunately, no side is exempt from having done.
