Yes! I agree..children learn so much through play and there's no need to get them into formal schooling prenaturely.. 🙌☺️

Adding to my list! I do have a few videos already comparing Pinwheels, All About Reading, and Logic of English. I totally get feeling overwhelmed!! There are so many options now that choosing can be really hard.

@@Homeschoolology yes! Do you use math with confidence for your older kids?
@Homeschoolology

@AlwaysBooked Math with Confidence did not exist when I started with my oldest kiddos. So we use other things with them. They also only go up to grade 6 currently, so switching might not be in our best intrest. But I will continue using it with my youngest two because we do really like it.

@@Homeschoolology I like it a lot too but I don’t like that there are no instructions in the student manual so they can’t do anything independently. We’ve used TGTB so far but my daughter isn’t loving it so we’re doing sample lessons of so much other stuff. It’s exhausting haha. MWC and apologia are seeming good but I wish I could find the perfect gem!

Do you have a deep dive video on pinwheels?? I’m torn between that and LOE. I don’t wanna make the wrong choice!

I actually have a whole playlist on Pinwheels! kzbin.info/aero/PLRWXQD4I6sEpubxmoRZgdhje0DeFTU90H I find Pinwheels to be a little more teacher friendly then LOE. LOE is written for group learning, so you do have to do some adjusting to make it work for homeschool. Once you get Pinwheels set up it is very open and go. But I think both programs are fantastic. So you can't really go wrong. Hope that helps and doesn't make it harder. LOL

Do you feel that Pinwheels moves at a slower pace compared to AAR and Logic of English? My daughter is very bright and eager to learn to read.
@Homeschoolology

Possibly, but it is very easy to move as quickly or as slowly as you would like to through the lessons. Remember that you don't always have to do every single activity any curriculum suggests. Will my daughter we moved VERY quickly through. Like 2 or 3 lessons a week in the beginning. With my younger 2 week are lucky to get through 1 lesson a week. And Pinwheels fit perfectly in both situations. Just got at the pace that fits your daughter. I really can't recommend the program enough. I think it breaks everything down so well and makes it really easy for kids to understand.

I’m considering bash into happy. Do you like the program, you mentioned you haven’t used it, but just from looking through? Thank you

I think it is absolutely beautiful. And I think the stories are sweet. I do think it is a great curriculum. We just have not been doing much more than Pinwheels currently. That is really all the attention span my kiddos have right now. LOL
