Thank you for your time into your superb deep dive of the kindle paperwhite signature edition. I enjoy the export notes function that allows all highlights that you enjoyed in the book to be sent as a pdf to your email account. I then save this file to Evernote and when I want to refresh myself on a previous book read - I open this file and read through my highlights. Thanks again for what you do.

Hi! Thank you for this post! It was very helpful to me. I love that you can show the cover of the book you are reading as your screen saver. I didn't know this before! I like to read my books at night but like to listen to them during my commute but I hate to pay for a book and an audio book. Can you please do a tutorial on using the VoiceView screen reader? Thank you. Very informative content. I currently use the app version on an iPad. But I’m thinking of picking one of these up. I use the landscape with 2 columns so I don’t need to change pages as often. Can this do the same with the 2 column landscape? Again, thank you much for all the information!

Thanks so much. I appreciate you taking the time to comment! 🤩 To answer your question, you can set a Kindle Paperwhite to landscape but you cannot do 2 columns. This ability to do this is only available on the Kindle Scribe as far as I’m aware. Screen size is probably the issue here. Hope that was helpful.

I wish it were possible (it isn't) to _permanently_ disable the "reading progress," options. I always turn it off "completely," only to find that I've accidentally triggered it again, by touching the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Then I have to scroll through all of the options in order to turn it off again!

The page blinking black every time you touch the screen is very irritating and poor technology.

“Blinking black every time’? Both my Kindle Paperwhite and my Kindle Sribe don’t blink black every time. There is a whole page refresh every now and then but I don’t find this distracting - is this possibly what you’re referring to? E-ink displays do need to do this to clear any ghosting that may build up but again I haven’t experienced this as a major problem.
