I enjoy my Scribe-it is a perfect e-reader, and the screen size makes it more enjoyable. I had the Note 3 (b/w) and 3C (color). I enjoy Boox software, but I eventually returned both devices. If I had to pick a boox Air device I would stick with the black and white version. They just pushed an update to Scribe , hopefully they push more features in the future. Also Boox just announced the Go Series lol too many devices

I agree the software is better on the boox but I still love my scribe for reading and I don’t regret buying it. I do hope they keep improving the scribe. I appreciate your comment 😊

I want a e reader but also something to write text (chronicles o tales for example) I just want something to handwriting. What do you consider is better kindle o boox ? I don’t need more tools.

Great video by the way, and completely agree with you around the scribe, the software side around note taking really does let it down! With that said I do love my scribe and still use it for writing and reading everyday!

I have the note air 3c for 6 months now and I can highly recommend it. I also have the kobo libra 2 and a kindle basic which are for my reading purposes only for now having the note air 3c for my other productive features. Hoping for Amazon to catch up soon because they are lagging behind esp now that kobo already have color ebooks

Helpful video! I've been using my Scribe for a few months now and wish I had gone with something a little bit more feature complete like the Boox. Do you have any recommendations for a similar device in the same price range as the Scribe?

Been looking at the NA3C for awhile, how does it play those light games? cant seem to find any videos of anyone playing wordscapes or candy crush. I mainly want it for reading, but a little light gaming intrigues me.

What are some of the note taking features you think the Scribe should have?

With the note air you can customize the pens to make them more unique. You can also add covers the your notebooks, add perfect shapes, add pictures, more notebook layouts, and layering. For the price of the scribe it would be nice to have more options but like I mentioned in the video I still love the device.

I can’t handle a few things with Boox. Primarily the battery life, UI, and the fact that they only receive three years of updates.

I agree the battery does drain very quickly.

You're using the wrong refresh mode for color apps. Most apps are usable if you put it in a faster refresh mode. That's the point of Boox Super Refresh technology and the dedicated GPU.

i wouldn't need apps anyway if i want to play i just buy a tablet and i play there until i fall asleep lol....
