Maybe its me...........but lots of that stuff is NOT a "social emotional thing", but a sign of ASOCIAL behaviour! WOW........they visit grandma at her 90th birthday.......OBVIOUSLY they didnt visit or help or live beside her for years etc.!!!!!!!!!

It's you. That kid looked like i he was about the age one usually goes to university, he probably has other things to do than to care for his 90 year old grandmother, a skill he might not have been taught properly. I know there are cultures where the grandparents live with their children when they grow old but when stay at home moms are decreasing in a population the need for professional care for these elderly rise.
