We got notice of Kinetic-kms shock mod the day they released them, BUT, as we're in the 🇬🇧, we have to consider: Shipping + eBay's GSP + Import & Customs fees, which is double the price of the set itself; total cost for us hurts big time; Ouch! 🥺 Your vid helps making the sting in buying not so bad seeing how they perform, thanks TJ 🤝 Time to save our UK pence (pennies USA) Cheers 👍

That's a pretty good upgrade I just got the HD shocks with the 9 gram brass cover for the pumpkin. Then the 5 gram brass wheel weights LOL hobby shop started their Black Friday today... I'm going to do some tests and see which way will climb the best. But the link work great thank you this was perfect. I really didn't know there was other upgrades being made by other people. I'm an RC nut, it seems like I'm working on something all the time LOL but ya can't wait for future videos

@@TJthercGuy oh yeah that's no problem I'll definitely let them know you sent me that way. I didn't know the scx 24 was the barrage just smaller LOL. I think what I'm going to do is run 19 grams of brass in the front and 10 grams of brass in the back. Until then right now I can lift it with my finger by skid plate and the totally balanced. I used to be a flex head until I learn Flex isn't everything LMAO it's all physics like you said. But I got more videos to watch of yours and I'll be caught up. I can say honestly I really enjoy this channel and your ideas are really good. I don't find many people with good ideas like mine LMAO okay I'm going to go look at that website you sent me and I will make sure they know you sent me there. Purchased them for my Jeep. The height increased too much, which caused problems with the CG. The car now is too high and flips a lot. The flex in indeed crazy and really cool.

Yeah if you use the springs the double barrow comes with it will sit high I’m using the stock scx24 aka soft treal springs so it still sits low but not bottomed out. ✌️🙂

Same here. DIY Brakets for Shocks relocation is the solution. Doin'em right though ain't easy as it seams it should be.

A free way to reduce bounce in your shocks is to put a piece of masking tape on the top end of your shocks ,so the spring goes over it . It will create more friction to reduce bounce. I did it to my SCX 24. But I'm using my RGT Adventure stock shocks on it.

Cool I found grease works best in stock, treal or the shocks and for the as for the double barrows itching is needed d they perform great on stock springs. Your idea is a good one for the rgt shocks for sure because they are wide open. 👊🙂

None at most a very fine layer inside on the wall. Just because they are to wide open would just fill with dirt. 👊🙂

Thanks and awesome the boggers are great only con is they tend to slide sideways. You can snip the small lugs off the outside and leave inside alone to help. It will also help with over all grip especially in loose dirt and mud. 👊🙂

No only kinetic kms on eBay makes a and sells them. There are 2 different versions now though. These in my video for the stock shocks and a version that works with Hr/Treal shocks. ✌️🙂

That don’t bounce near as much as the stock shocks on the stock springs. The brass on aluminum has a bit more friction then the stock shock body. 👊🙂

Put some diff grease in the shock bodies to lubricate and keep it smooth at the same time slowing down rebound

@@roberttruesdell6151 yeah that works ok in stock shocks but not in the double barrows they are none sealed at all. Besides just leaking it out anything inside just gets full of dirt. ✌️🙂

Having some issues with them when they get fully compressed the brass piece gets stuck in the aluminum piece. Am I doing something wrong?

Try spacing the shocks out from the chassis a bit. Otherwise they hit the chassis rails and bind a bit. I used a few small spacers. If they keep binding it could be a machining issue. Loot for any ruff spot in the shock bodys. some people file any imperfections smooth and another’s if it to put a small o ring in the top of the shocks. ✌️🙂

Hello good sir. I put an ebay brushless system, hbx devestator mini wheels and painted a new body. So far it crawls ok. Would you say these kinetic springs are worth it?

Definitely worth it if you like a lot of flex. The carisma oil shocks give you better dampening but not as much flex as the double barrow shock mod. 👊🙂

Does the front driveshaft pop out or is it perfect for the stock lenght of the deadbolt? Because i dont want to Stretch my deadbolt in order to get these, also do they fit the c10?

I don’t have a stock scx24 right now. But they should work fine on any of stock rigs to. Only with the c10 or wrangler the totes might rub more at full articulation. If you have any trouble with the drive shaft there should a spare in the box you can cut to the proper Length. 👊🙂

Is there a way to limit down travel with those shocks? I like “flex”, but there seems to be a little too much imo.

It’s not a very affective way rubber bands maybe. It’s not to much for a lowered deadbolt with wideners you want the down travel with a belly dragger or when it bottoms out the axles won’t drop down so the tires bite and drag it over. If you don’t as much flex go with carisma oil shocks it’s what’s in my scaler build that was my c10. Now it’s the camo gmc. 👊😊
