Just Got my Deadbolt, not even unboxing it until all my Mod parts arrive. I have some Treal Shocks on the way in the mix.

We have almost 10 of these micros lol can’t get enough of the scx24 I think there is more options support out for them than the full size 10.3 right now

I am really excited about building my 1st one out, I have a lot of parts on the way and a Deadbolt here on the shelf still in the box, and I am already thinking about my second SCX24 build. Discovered 1/24th slot car bodies online, have a 46 Willy's and a 70 El Camino clear lexans on the way for that custom look, going to have fun deciding how to trim and mount them. when I get tired of the deadbolt or want to show off at the Hobby shop ; - )
even with a light bar or roll bar this El Camino should have goof CG, as long as everything will fit underneath

Top notch design too! Mod19 nailed it on design for sure! Everything lined up so nicely and the way it all fits together in the end is amazing exactly how I would design and build a truck and somehow he managed to fit it into a micro lol cheers!

I used green slime, on the end of a toothpick, just to lubricate the walls inside the shock, get rid of the bounciness . Seems to be working pretty good, for me anyways

I really need to pick up some green slime kind of a noob when it comes to that stuff

Yeah the stock shocks, has adjustable preload, there is a little snap ring pull the spring down and it stays I just wanted a little higher ride height, for the tires don't rub the body.

I found that it would pop back up every once in a while to I’ve seen some guys put his tiny zip tie behind it to hold it down

I have the "same" shocks on my deadbolt, only mod I have for it..... mine are Hot Racing though.... In my opinion, the Treal, HR and Power Hobby shocks are all just rebranded, they are the same thing though... LOL I put exactly the same amount of the same oil in mine as well!!! Thanks for sharing.... I also used the black springs subbed... thought I already was after I saw the micro shark build...
@ProNoobRC4 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree they’re the same ones just rebranded for which ever company was paying for logos lol. Cheers bro!

So I just subscribed,good video! so I got two sets from pro line after watching your video. One for the Chevy C 10 one for the deadbolt. Frances over at RC review recommends green slime also to coach the insides of the shark cylinders for dampening affects.

Awesome build... you guys's trucks look great!.. Also your indoor course looks amazing, love the terrain and colours and typography your trying to re-create. I'm not into the micro trucks but you had me watching to the end, I think the way you've built the trucks and track made it more appealing. Micro shark is sick.. I can't fathom being forced indoors for months at a time so can see why they are popular around the world in colder climates. Cheers mates👍

Yes everything we enjoy is outdoor based and we are forced to shut it all down each year. Some of the brave go out but trying to control RC with mittens on is next to impossible LOL so we choose to do the micro side of the hobby and thankfully Axial jumped on and started pumping out these SCX 24s which are super capable and super fun thanks for the kind comments and stay tuned We are working on the course there is a whole other 10 feet to the left that we just reworked cheers have a great weekend
