Where can I get the 1" connector parts that fit into the head? The original installer glued 3/4" reducers into mine and ran a lot of 3/4" pvc which I believe affects my supply pressure and flow back into the house.

That is one thing that my local plumbing supply store actually had ready and in stock! These are not special parts. Here's the first (kind of expensive) example I just found online too: waterestore.com/products/waterboss-quest-fittings-ams-180-380-700-900-or-950

I actually need the fittings that slip 'into' the head and are pinned; like your 90s there in your video. Which is where the installer (years ago) glued the 3/4" to 1" adapters. Can't seem to find any of those fittings, even online, sigh.@@loonhunt

How do we rebed the carbon in the Kinetico Quad 50 tanks (resin on top and carbon on bottom)?

I've not done it yet either. I found a video of a resin change (not carbon)- it seems you basically just dump out the old resin and add the new: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqOQqIZrfJh0i9U Let us know if you find anything on the carbon. Thanks

Looks like you know a lot about this system. The handle on my bypass valve was broken by the neighbors plumber, is there anyway to turn this from green flow to yellow bypass manually? The stem is not large enough for vise grips or pliers.

With the water on, you can actually remove the screw in the middle of the handle and the round grey piece right behind it (with the words on it that say Bypass, Service, Off). I just did it on mine, you can see here: imgur.com/ifw0Pdp I assume this is what is broken on yours. If you can't grip the round grey piece itself and turn it, the screw hole in the middle actually goes into the part that needs to turn. So if you can somehow get something in that hole that will grip and turn (a screwdriver?), that might do it. You might risk damaging that screw hole that way, but if it's already broken, then * shrugs * If you can't set it to bypass that way, you can turn the water off before that valve either by turning off water to your whole house, or maybe you have another valve before the softener that allows it. WITH THE WATER OFF, you can remove the 7 bolts on the outside of the kinetico valve. Then you can manually set the valve into bypass mode by removing those 7 bolts and accessing the inside of the valve. I have video where I take apart the entire valve so you can see what the insides look like. It may help your situation. See here just after the 7 minute mark: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJ24kGWlgc2DgM0
