King 3B vs. Conn 5H

A quick and dirty comparison between a 1973 King 3B trombone (.508") and a 1979 Conn 5H trombone (.500"). Tested with 4 different mouthpieces: a Hammond 11M, Warburton 8S/4*, Bach Corp. 6 1/2 AL, and Bach Corp (no period) 12E.
Everything was improvised and played rapid-fire into everyone's favorite pristine studio-grade microphone, the Samsung Galaxy S7.

Very nice, you sound great! Had a 3B which i played most of my life. Now, have a Conn 5H/6H, great horn. Would like to have the 3B as a spare.

The King/Warburton combination is my usual gigging setup, and I think that comes across in the video. It's a really good match!
