King Aldfrith of Northumbria (Flainn Fihna Maic Ossu)-An Irish King of an Anglo-Saxon Kingdom.

I'd never heard of this king before, and am pleased to have now met his acquaintance. I kind of like the idea of a combined method for dating the calendar for the best of both worlds. Something like, the year 2021 under the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. But I definitely would not want to have to remember which year of her reign we are in.

I'm glad awareness of Aldfrith is spreading, I will spread his words of wisdom in a future video. thank you for watching. It would be difficult enough to work out the dates of one kingdom, let alone cross referencing two different points of reference. It was a nightmare I believe 😂

He was as much one as the other perhaps. Its also possible the Irish thought if him as 'too anglic' and the angles 'too Irish' 😂

Most probably 😂 it's certainly representative as no images of Aldfrith exist. His era is dam hard to make a video for. But I'm quite confident that he would have been bearded and kingly, they all definitely had beards 😂
