Wow, someone from Richmond, Ca. I grew up there and was in a dance group. We had some of the best dance groups and poppers in Richmond. The Bay Area was ahead of its time in popping. In 1982, I was at Fort Hood, Tx when the song came out. And I was in a dance group in the Army at Fort Hood.

Super !!! I saw that this was filmed in 82? Men! that goes way back.... In the Netherlands it started only in 1982. Every now and then we could spot maybey a clip on TV.....If we where lucky...... I recently started practicing again after a break for 23 years and now these days there is so much to see on the internet!!! I have to admit that this clip gives me the chills cause it realy brings me back in the days. Peace

Hey King Boogaloo Tut, I love your videos. I hope you have more of them for us. We need to learn from the masters. The Street Scape (sp?) crew is has some of the best dancers. There are only three or four videos of them on youtube (if you have more, please post them), but they are incredible. I saw the other one with Boogaloo Sam, and it blew my mind, too. As you say, keep tutting on them.

This dance style was created by a group of soul train dancers including Jeffrey Daniels of the singing group shalamar and they call themselves The electric boogaloo I was 17 years old at the time hard to believe it's been over 43 years and that most of those young people including myself or grandpas and great grandpa's today time does fly but I have fond memories of the 70s and 80s it was some of the worst and best times of my life which ended up being the best times of my life❤😎👍
