I got my King C. Gillette almost a month ago, and I love it, though the handle can get a little slippery at times, but I just wipe my hands off before each pass and it usually does the trick. The blades worked surprisingly well, and the weight in the handle gives a good feel to the razor. Overall I'm impressed with it.

I think living in the US, we have a different perspective of Chinese goods than many other countries. Being that Gillette was a US company and regarded as the premier razor manufacturer for a century, it's difficult to see products farmed out to a foreign entity😒 You're correct in that P&G(Gillette)needs to open a facility and produce razors here in the US again. We'll see🙄 The CUBE did a fantastic job of protecting the skin, looked great. bought a King C Gillette because it was on special offer, less than half price and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the shave compared with more expensive items. The razor is comfortable in the hand and glides very well on the face.

Great content Paul. I've been using the King C Gillette safety razor for a few weeks now, although with different blades, and I have to say, I've really enjoyed it. It's definitely not an aggressive razor, but like you, I personally like the heavier weight to it. Happy birthday to the Mrs. Keep up the good work!

I use the Cube as a preshave soap with every soap/cream I use. I lather up the Cube like you did, then take the brush to bowl later the „soap of the day“ and apply the lather over the Cube-lather. Hope this makes sense! All the best to the H-Family

Gillette razor arrives to the Humphreys household :) Mrs H flower arrangement is very very beautiful today, would make a great painting, even with the one handle pot :) By the way, someone said that the direction of the spiral knurling on the new Gillette razor handle can be a bit slippery for left handed shavers. The PAA pre-shave cube makes an excellent shave soap, wow! SOTD for me: Fatip Testina Gentile razor, Wilkinson Gillette blade, Capt Fawcett limited super badger brush, Proraso Green soap and Aqua Velva after shave lotion. Last SOTD on 6/1 for the Reddit Lather Games was Gillette Fatboy, Personna Red blade, Proraso White Pre-shave, RazoRock 400 brush (PaulH inspired purchase), Barrister and Mann Fern soap. Paul have you tried the rex ambassador? I haven't done a search on your channel yet. But that's an all american made stainless adjustables, closer to the Gibbs than the fatboy but took keys from both for the design. Rex is owned by Matt who also owns razor emporium here in the US., So he's had alot of time servicing the old Gillettes

It's a pleasant surprise to see that it is a decent razor for a reasonable price. Hopefully it makes it's way to South America, wouldn't mind trying it out. Although I am at a point where I try and try and try new razors, but I keep coming back to the superspeed for the everyday shave. Hi Paul. The razor head is made in Germany but Gillette didn’t mention by whom. It’s good seeing a Gillette DE razor on the shelves but currently it’s only at Walgreens Pharmacies. Gillette is coming around but moving slowly into brick and mortar stores. But they better get used to it... DE shaving isn’t going away. PICKUP TIME BABY. 😂😂😂

Good morning Paul! A BIG belated Happy Birthday Mrs. H!!!!!! The King C Gillette razor and blades is a decent value. I found the razor shaves close and comfortable. The King C Gillette blades are sharp and smooth; not as long lasting as I hoped for the price. I have tried these blade in a variety of razors and I found they are better suited for mild to mid aggressive razors. I am impressed with the Cube's ability to be used as a shaving soap. I can imagine the slickness...it should be slick, being a pre-shave product. I think the difference in price between the Gillette Heritage and the King C Gillette is the razor case. That was a good shaving result. I am sure many more people will try this razor/blade and PAA Cube. Take care of yourself and thanks for sharing.
