I agree and accept that Charles is in a very difficult and complex position as constitutional monarch, however surely if he is a Christian, whether Roman Catholic, Protestant or Orthodox, his first obligation is to acknowledge Christ as King rather than Tiberius, Nero, Machiavelli, The Lord Chamberlain or Starmer (or whoever resides in No10 at the time). That, after all, is what Christ demands. I feel he needs to be true to that calling and let the cards fall where they may.
