Because as far as I know King Charles did not do all the Commando tests. A green beret or 'green lid ' as the Marines call it, is only awarded to those who have successfully completed all the Commando tests. King Charles was a Royal Navy helicopter pilot who finished his training at the Commando Training Centre.

When you look at the fact that the Royal Navy cannot defend, or is not allowed to defend Britain's shores against an invading army of illegal migrants; the Army only gets sent to fight to defend people in Foreign wars, and the same with the RAF; and the fact that the UK Military is now smaller than it was when the Germans laughed at it in 1914; and the way UK veterans are treated when they are no longer fit to fight, it makes me wonder why anyone bothers anymore.

Why LOL? He served in the Royal Navy on the guided-missile destroyer HMS Norfolk and the frigates HMS Minerva and HMS Jupiter. He qualified as a helicopter pilot and then joined 845 Naval Air Squadron on the HMS Hermes. He also took command of the coastal minesweeper HMS Bronington (M1115) in 1976, serving for 10 months. A lot of the medals are Jubilee medals as well as medals from other countries such as New Zealand and Canada. You should do more research before commenting.
