That was wonderful, seeing those men. We'll be OK if we have them looking after things. The strength of those young men. It reminds me of my father when he came home after the War. He was a P.E. Instructor so he was strong and able to lead the others as that one man in the white vest is able to do now. No wonder my father was so muscular. No one ever asked him to "come outside." My goodness. He didn't need to "work out" at a gym. I can see now why they were all a sturdy bunch back then and fearless too. The King did all that in his youth, obviously. He would have been right at home meeting all those Marines. Good video.

The recruit is question received a serious shoulder injury late in training that resulted him needing many months of rehabilitation. He was awarded the Commando Medal and his green beret for his resilience and Commando spirit in coming back and completing the full Commando course to earn his green beret.

Neither Charles , nor his father , ever wore the coveted green beret because they never 'did'the commando course . But Prince Harry wore a green beret as titular Commandant General although he never even attempted the course . Parliament is dissolved by the King on the Prime Minister's request. After agreeing to the request the King will authorise a proclamation at a Privy Council meeting, which he will then order to be issued under the Great Seal of the Realm.

That has to be requested by the PM. What many people fail to understand is that they also have self-preservation to consider as well. They cannot overstep and exercise Royal Prerogative of their own accord, out of line with modern precedent if they wish to maintain the support of those in positions of power and influence.
