King Crab and Seafood Delights at Atlantis BUFFET | Reno

Whenever I hear people talk about casinos in Reno, they almost always talk about Peppermill. Only rarely do I hear Atlantis mentioned, but I absolutely love Atlantis and especially the buffet. I've been a loyal customer there since I started gambling in Reno in 2013. I've never felt compelled to stay and play anywhere else.

This buffet is worth the price that they're asking. The seafood looks heavenly and the meats look wonderful, not dried out like the other buffet. There's something for everybody to eat there. I think there's nothing to lose on this buffet. It's only a winning.🎉❤

I’m so happy you found Atlantis after attempting to dine at GSR 🤦🏻‍♀️ Atlantis is our go to buffet while in Reno. We haven’t stayed there in years but love the Friday/Saturday buffet. I don’t care for the steak but rather have the prime rib. Their comps are great, we never pay for a meal, always two comp buffet. What time did you go, didn’t look very busy. It’s best to get in line before the buffet opens for dinner, the line gets very long. Sue

Another great upload. I lived on the West Coast and would have loved to visit it for the seafood. The meat looks a little overdone for my taste. I like it rare, very rare. If it wiggles and moos when hit with the fork, it's perfect.

I love going to the Atlantis buffet when i was kid living in Reno back in the 90s. I was there when I visit back in 2021 and they were doing cafeteria style serving because you know. I definitely would go back there next time I visit Reno, hopefully on a Friday

Wow this is one of the best buffets you’ve shown in a long time. The Vegas buffets can take a lesson from this one. This is what a premium buffet should look like. Price is well worth it, it seems.

Exactly our thoughts. Reno felt a bit more like Vegas used to be. The hotel gave us coffee pods in the room everyday and complimentary bottles of water. The hotels in Vegas give you nothing and charge extra for everything.

We haven’t been to Reno in years. So many other casinos don’t have buffets anymore…we used to love the buffet at Eldorado. Nice to know Atlantis is offering such a scrumptious buffet at such a great price. No need to go to Vegas now…LOL!!

How many hours did it take to get from Las Vegas to Reno?? This might be worth the drive if the king crab legs and Dungeness crab is so good.

It’s a very long drive John. It takes over 7 hours if you don’t stop.

FYI, we went last Friday, and there was only snow crab legs. I asked both the assistant manager and the chef about the lack of dungeness and king and was told that it was seasonal and special holidays only. My guess is that they did it for a while and wasn't sustainable. We drove from the SF area, so it was a long drive to find out there was only snow crab. Thought I'd save someone a trip.😥

Thank you, Laura! For me, Dungeness crab is a bit firmer than snow and has a buttery taste. Snow has the mildest flavor and king crab tastes much sweeter and typically is meatier.

Welcome to my 'hood'...lol I recognize that bench seat... This buffet beats every LV buffet, both in price and quality AND KING CRAB!!!... LV buffets are all mostly cheap unit cost items now, serving to the masses for obscene prices... I make it a point to schedule my visit to Reno to hit this hotel and buffet.. At least this casino gets it. What brings people to the casino are their buffets. People come to eat then will drop off some money at the tables / machines. Casinos without a buffet are stingy, they think people just come in to drop off money.
