My mother died just over 3 months ago. Today would have been her 97th birthday. I had to go south. I took just a few CDs and DVDs to give me comfort. I had to imbue the place she died with good vibes of music. So I took Diamond Mine, IDES, the DVD of From Scotland and a It's a Sin and a CD of songs by a friend. I blasted the cottage with this music and I am sure I left it a happier place. Of course I also stayed there for three weeks with my gorgeous Susie Hound who is a dog of love. So music, film, dog... we gave a sad place a lot of love.
