KC is hugely under rated. The guy has so much emotion in his vocal, he's a true story teller of the highest order. He's an incredible conveyor of a song and undoubtedly one of the greatest singer songwriters we have ever produced.

King Creosote made this love note to Scotland in 2014, during the referendum. Uniquely among artists in Scotland, he then came out strongly against Scottish independence. None of the pro-independence nobodies could dream about making something as poetic and true to Scotland as this. He's a gem of a guy and an artist.

What a beautiful piece of film - making me feel all nostalgic even though I am not from Glasgow nor was I even born at that time! Move over Rabbie Burns - Scotland has a new King to wear your vacant crown. Even the coldest of hearts couldn't resist melting to this.

How life has dramatically changed since this time, always think it is a shame how many has created a new world to what was a time of happiness and hope, everyone at that time didn't care what they looked like, what they wore or how much money they had, as long as they had each other they were happy. Makes me think how this new world era is not what it should been and what it should have been, thank you to reality television, politics and jugmental opinions, you've really done us proud! Peace out to all in From Scotland With Love you are all people to be remembered!x

This is sheer genius. It is sheer genius because of how it continues the mood and action from one clip to another which could be decades apart in another town. From black and white to colour, you could be panning right on a sullen industrial Clyde in the 30's to looking down a delapidated tenement street the 50's, in colour with kids playing happily and a girl crossing the road at an angle and reaching the other side as a lady in Dundee, continuing the shot and pan to a happy crowd doing happy things which could be in colour or black and white and might even be the 70'sor Edwardian Era. And it all bloody well fits!

I loved the film From Scotland with love, the way it was filmed, the colour, the editing & of course the sympathetic delicate deep & beautifully crafted music. A perfect collision òf two different art forms that enhanced both and film as well. Nice one K.C. p.s, say hello next time you bump into the sunshine band. X

Voice takes on the images of waterside, and tongue bridges. King Creosote drives this track with such powerful control, and emotion. The diction, and unique drive of the instrumentation meeting that steering pearly voice is salt to the gold to the black of soothing.
