Interesting fact is hard to find now interviews about King Diamond when he was still an occultist for some reason. If you ask me I think he still belive in supernatural astral stuff.

But 99 percent of the population live by the Satanic Philosophy whether they know it or not. As Anton LaVey even told me that Satanism is simply a life philosophy and NOT a religion. Personally I do not use electrical lighting at home and on my Satanic Altar or in the studio when I record vocals, only black candles as electrical lighting drives away the spirits and I love having them near me. People who see Satanism from the Christian view point are not treating these powers with respect and that is very dangerous. I once actually summoned a spirit in order to prove they are real to a girl who doubted and Satan came. My wife will not look in our mirror in fear something will come out. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. I know that rituals work. I don’t do them often because you can easily misuse them. They will get back at you if you don’t respect them. Rituals can channel the forces that surround us all the time but I respect the powers and will not abuse them in any way.. Satan is the power of the universe.

@@IHATEDRIVING2 He does. he did live fan chats on his old forum a while back and talked very deeply about his satanic beliefs and ritual practices and experiences with the supernatural. he even summoned a demon once to prove to a girl they are real. Since these talks were personal with us and no time limit he got much deeper into things than he can in interviews

Sad he doesn't understand Christianity, like a lot of people who end up Atheist or Satanist. For the people wondering "turn the other cheek" DOES NOT MEAN watch someone get cut and do nothing. In the time of Jesus, turning the other cheek (after a slap that meant an insult), was challenging the other person to either apologize or start an actual fight (this time with a slap meaning wanting a fight). So nowadays if you get verbally insulted with no physical threat, "turn the other cheek", ask them to repeat the insult or to explain, dont insult back. If they keep going and going, a fight is gonna start, so prepare. If they realize the mistake and stop, then they have repented.

King unfortunately heard about churchianity, not Grace (a common problem.) The Bible never stamps out healthy self-love and that sort of pride. It warns against what we might term narcissistic pride, at the expense of others. Turning the other cheek was from the infamous Sermon On The Mount, which Jesus spoke to law-abiding Jews in order to challenge their ways of thinking. They were falsely assuming that they had it all in the bag and were following the Law to the letter. But no, it is impossible to follow the Law, that was why it was originally put into place: to show your own need for a hand up! As far as love is concerned, there are all sorts of love in Scripture. The universal love you hold for all sentient beings is called "Agape." You are not expected to love a stranger with the same TYPE of love you love your loved ones, only that that love is there because they are alive and deserving respect. King also accurately points out that churchians have raised the accuser to the level of demi-god. Which is a shame.

"Satanism is the opposite of Christianity" "Its not Christian Satan" As much as i love the music, King Diamond has no idea what he is talking about. "Christian" Satan, by definition, is the opposite of Christ, there isnt a "non-Christian Satan" (unless you're talking about another religion in specific). Its not "unknown forces", its pretty well known, Lucifer the best angel gets prideful, falls to hell, thats it. He used lies, temptation and deceit. So any follower of Satan has been manipulated with lies, which shows by King Diamond's lack of knowledge of Satan.

Its true haha, Lucifer was the best angel, got prideful, God kicks him out of the garden along with 1/3 of the other angels, falls into Hell, and now we call him Satan, thats it
