Hello, everybody!
This week I am covering King Diamond's "The Portrait" off the debut album, "Fatal Portrait". If you've watched my other videos you know I love Timi's bass playing, so I'm excited to cover some songs off this album.
I love the classic bass tone and how it sits with the kick drum in the mix, especially during the double kick parts.
I will be making a video in the future about dialing in tones, in general but also specifically on the Darkglass Microtubes.
Darkglass is always known for that super overdriven djenty Dingwall kind of tone, and they do it very well, but it's amazing how many other sounds you can dial in with just that amp and no other effects.
Thank you all for watching,
Cheers!
