So good. I was always a drummer / guitar player but recently getting into bass more thanks to my long standing love for Maiden. But to see how much more involved these bass tracks were with KD? It's awesome. I always spent some much time on Micky's drums or Andy's riffage that I failed to really listen to the bass. It's no joke. Have to get my finger strength up to speed for sure.

I was moving, so I watched it couple times and never commented. Awesome tribute as always. If I can drop yet another suggestion, Legend of The Beatles Headless Rider is a masterpiece would be it. I used to play it on the guitar, but that's simply impossible to retain in muscle memory for me.

@@kienanplaysbass I also attempted that song a few months ago with the same problem. I think I could've gotten a decent take with the fretless but was left too annoyed by the pitchyness. That part in the middle where it's just 7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7 for what feels like a minute is super entertaining though :P Btw, my recording of Desecration of Souls is done & will be uploaded rather soon!

@neil_song I always thought everything was a little sharp, but I got a strobe tuner recently and now I can see exactly how sharp the bass is! It's like half way to the next note. And rad dude! Stoked to see it 🤘

This sounds so good! I wish the bass was slightly louder on the album. As someone who doesn't play any instrument, it's through videos like this one I can fully appreciate the instruments (especially bass).

There it is! I had actually watched it and liked it. Watching again for sure \m/ 5:41 might as well be Denmark's National Anthem. What a beautiful passage they came up with, most likely Michael Denner's input there.
