He loved his grandmother Queen Ingrid , whom he saw at Freedensborg Castle in Chancellery house where he spent every weelkend , until Ingrid died in November 2000. He also loved the family nanny , who wasthe real OMa or Mau Mau, whom Frderek's children called 22Nanna "" aname often used in retain , as a pet name for the more formal Grandma or Grandmother Frderik bought her an apartment in Copen hagen after she left her apartment in Amalienborg in 1993. King Frederik , Queen Mary , and their children poften visited her . Sadly, Queen Margrethe only really loved 3 peop her two sisters and her husband , although it was a love/hate relationship. Prince Henrie never learned how to speak Danish properly. He did , however , teach King Frederik how to cook !
