"Dude they're both playing the same thing, like on 5ths or 7ths" is the funniest way I've ever heard someone describe harmonies LOL

Reminds me of the time my brother discovered what a vocal harmony was after learning to play the guitar, “dude they’re just singing chords what the hell”

This show was released as an "official bootleg" on their Bandcamp. They also confirmed in an insta story that the spotify account "bootleg gizzard" is run by them, so if the album version isn't enough for your playlists, this performance is available in audio form

8.5 hours of live gizz on that album alone!

Saw a video pointing out how this jam had a bit of converge in it a whole year before it came out. I recommend reacting to their performance of Work this time at Bonnaroo ’22! I know youve already reacted to it once live, but the bonnaroo version is just on another level IMO

I got goosebumps listening to this. So good! Once you catch on to Gizz there's such a vast collection of musical treasures to discover. My wife and I have seen them 3 times and are seeing them 3 more times on this tour. What show are you two going to? Also, I think Remlinger Farms is the definitive version of this for sure, however. Love watching you two's diacovery of this band. Best band on Earth right now.

agree with everything except for remlinger farms being better. i was at remlinger, it was very cool, but this is next level. they cram SO much into this one.

I love how Joey throws in that magma riff at around 8:10! So damn good. And ambys harp hits hard at the end. The studio version's one i often come back to aswell, its real smooth 🫠

the harp was a great cherry on top of this jam

This is the final track on "I'm In Your Mind Fuzz", and probably my favorite track on the album. That faster section isn't in the studio version, pretty sure it was complete improv. The key change in said section is in the studio version, but at the tempo the rest of the song is. What a great decision to end an album about mind control, conspiracy theories and feeling empty with a beautiful jam that's both an environmental song (which King Gizz has tons of) and a love song (which King Gizz has rather few of). Its a love song about Mother Nature! I love it!! It's incredible! If you're planning on checking out the full album, keep in mind that the first 4 tracks are their first "real" attempt at a medley. Though you've already heard their KEXP performance of that. Just lovely.

Every time I listen to this one I think of the Fahrenheit vs Celsius debate, and I see it like this: Celsius is based on how water feels in a given temperature, Fahrenheit is based on how YOU as a human feel. 100 in Celsius is boiling for water, and 100 in Fahrenheit is hot as hell for humans. 0 in Celsius is freezing for water, and it’s near intolerably cold for humans. While yes, the boiling point and freezing point of water seem like arbitrary numbers to settle on in Fahrenheit, that’s not the point. The point is how YOU feel.
@secondhandreactions8 ай бұрын
That’s probably the best argument I’ve ever heard for Fahrenheit

@@nes8936 understandable. As an American I can say that Celsius seems to make more sense, but I couldn’t tell you what a comfortable temperature in Celsius is. Lol.
