The dripping tap won’t be turned off by the suits in charge of the world and our futures hanging on by a thread with our heads in the sand.
The dripping tap won’t be turned off by the gods up above us.
Big sky country.
That we never hear from in these times of our dying needs.
A familiar sound ignored.
The compartmentalised thoughts.
In the back corner of the drawer.
That drip, drip on the floor.
Don’t get drowned.
Heed that sound.
Left the tap on.
Swamping out of the sink.
Left the tap on.
Agua flowin’ in.
Left the tap on.
Blankets over my skin.
Left the tap on.
Wish I learnt how to swim.
Left the tap on.
Swamping out of the sink.
Left the tap on.
Agua flowin’ in.
Left the tap on.
Blankets over my skin.
Left the tap on.
Wish I learnt how to swim.
The dripping tap won’t be turned off by the suits in charge of the world and our futures hanging on by a thread with our heads in the sand.
Drip, drip from the tap don’t slip.
Drip, drip from the tap don’t slip on the drip.
Everybody’s on the same orbit.
When they get old and moronic.
Get complacent and get bored.
The dripping tap won’t be turned off by the suits in charge of the world and our futures hanging on by a thread with our heads in the sand.
The dripping tap won’t be turned off by the gods up above us.
Big sky country.
That we never hear from in these times of our dying needs.

Butterfly 3000 felt like they had to release some moody pop vibes, which didn't got me hooked all the way. In late 2021 they played 'Gaia' live - Drop D, decent ryhtms and a lovely metal-vibe - and I suddenly was totally hyped: 'will there be a psychedelic stoner album soon?'. Lucas is an incredible bassist, but if you look at the album credits, he doesn't tend to play bass in the studio very much. Actually, Joey plays bass on most gizz tracks. The primary songwriters in the group are Stu, Joey, Ambrose, and Michael. I think Joey just plays bass when they're in that writing group of four, most of the time, and Lucas learns the parts for live performances so Joey can play guitar. It's kind of ironic: Joey is my favorite guitarist in Gizz, but he plays bass in the studio. I think Lucas sounds tighter on bass, but he only plays with them live. My favorite bassist in the band is Cookie, and he rarely plays bass for King Gizz. I only knew he played bass from Pipe Eye and the Murlocs. He's also my favorite songwriter in the group.
